Al Ummah Foundation has teamed up with partners on the ground to help the people of Gaza during this unprecedented and brutal genocide! This is a race against time to save as many people as possible and offer some comfort from the onslaught of bombings, destruction and displacement.
Current update on Gaza
Over 10,000 people have been killed, including over 4,000 children since October 7th. More than 1.5 million have been displaced due to this genocide and crammed into makeshift camps!
Only a small handful of hospitals are in operation but with limited resources and fuel. They can not cope with the large and frequent number of casualties and forced to treat civilians without adequate anaesthesia or morphine. Many severely injured civilians have been turned away without any medical care due to this inexplicable genocide.
The loss of lives is heartbreaking particularly, young babies in ICUs who died due lack of fuel to power the life support machines!
The situation within the southern section of Gaza is dire and remains extremely volatile and dangerous as civilians are struggling to survive amid a barrage of continuous bombing and ground assault.
Civilians desperately need food, water, medicines, power, fuel and safe shelters until a ceasefire is agreed.
