On Friday 28th August 2020, Al Ummah Foundation were honoured to be the chosen charity for the pre-opening dinner event of M&M’s Diner in Gants Hill.

The owner of M&M’s Diner sought to start his business with the blessings of Allah (SWT) and donated the entire takings from the event, with the request that the money supports beneficiaries in three distinct regions: Rohingya refugee camp, Yemen and Syria.

The team at Al Ummah Foundation were delighted to see such a large turnout, with some family and friends attending from as far as Surrey, Kent & Hemel Hempstead. Alhamdullilah, everyone came together to support this amazing cause, whilst also enjoying delicious gourmet burgers, premium meat dishes and tucking into mouth watering desserts! Alhamdulillah, the quality of the food and the generosity of the diners made it a night to remember and a huge success all round.

Total takings on the night was £2895 and 100% of this money will go to charity. Total includes few additional donations from customers, Alhamdullilah. Total will be divided between the three distinct regions: Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh, Yemen and Syria.

We pray that Allah SWT accepts all of our efforts and puts immense barakah in M&M’s Diner with longevity and success. Ameen.

We thank you all for attending and supporting this event. Jazak’Allah khair
